Snowman light up at night?

Hey, I've just noticed that the snowmen light up at night! Probably a bit of a random observation.

Zing Prize #42

So... this is my first Zing Prize post. It's actually amazing to think theres already been 42 epic prizes! If you don't know what the Zing Prizes are, or how to get them, here's how:

1) Collect 10 Golden Tickets. These are just like the normal objects that you can collect - just  walk up to 'em and click on 'em. 

 Here's a tip: If you want to know how many tickets you have collected, click on the picture of a Golden Ticket below the map icon.

2) Go and visit Zing at the Treehouse Lobby. You can get here either by the map, 

or the The Den via Pawthorne Forest.

3) Speak to Zing (Click on him).

He will offer a prize, or 500 coins. You will only get to choose 1 prize and if you choose the money, then collect another 10 tickets and speak to him, he will not offer a prize. He only lets you receive a prize once a week, and this gets updated every Monday.

So, back to this weeks epic prize...... If you don't want to know what it is and find out for yourself on Pandanda, DONT SCROLL DOWN!.......

Passwords post from Sherrif Steele

Hey all,

Apost on Henry's Blog came out today, from Sherrif Steele instead this time. It's all about 'hackers' - people who trick you into giving them your password, then ifyou were tricked, will do what they like to your account. Here's the post:

Hello citizens of Pandanda Land! All of you know that I want you to keep your accounts safe, so you can keep on having fun in Pandanda. I received a question the other day that I want to share with you all. It is about a problem that seems to be happening more and more. I hope you will pay close attention!

Dear Sheriff Steele, Someone in Pandanda told me that if I tell them my password, they will get me a free Elite membership. Somebody else said they would give me millions of coins if I tell them my password. I really want to be an Elite member! Is it ok to tell them my password? Signed, A Confused Panda Dear Confused, No, it is not ok to tell them your password. If you tell your password to someone, they can go on your account and do whatever they want. They could sell all of your things, delete all of your friends, and even get your account banned. If this happens, it is your responsibility. Pandanda will not be able to give your items back to you or restore your friends list. It is impossible for anyone to give you millions of coins. And the offer to buy you an Elite membership is probably not true. You have no way to know for sure if they are telling the truth, or if they are just trying to get your account. Do you want to risk losing your account forever? Please, do not let anyone convince you to tell them your password. Another player told me that someone said they would ban him if he didn’t tell them his password. That is also impossible. No player can ban another player, even if they send lots of reports. Only Moderators and I can ban players. Be smart and safe, my panda friends! Keep your password to yourself, and change it soon if you have ever told it to anyone. Sheriff Steele

I think it's great that Sherrif Steele has come out and publicly discussed this matter. Hacking is a Pandanda crime if you ask me, and if Pandanda find exactly which panda's are the hackers, their accounts should be deleted immediately. Sadly this wouldn't stop the hackers - they'd just make another account. >_> 

Have you also realised the amount of posts that come out of Henry's Blog that aren't from Henry? Heaps! And this is great, as we hear from more than one person.

New Catalog RELEASED!!!

Hey the new Winter Clothing Catalog has just been released moments ago! Sadly, the range of non - elite clothing is terrible, but thereis still some really cool clothes, and hopefully I might be able to get some with the Panda Gold Henry talked about on his blog recently.

This one's packed with plenty of awesome winter attire to keep you warm and toasty and protect you from all those snowmen running around! You can view the new Pandanda Collection Catalog tomorrow by talking to Fitch at the Clothing Co. off East Market Street. Henry

Hi friends! It is time for another edition of Meet the Mods! The Pandanda Moderators work hard making sure all of you pandas stay safe while you are having fun! Today’s Mod Q&A is all about Moderator Jozie. Jozie has been a Pandanda Mod since waaaay back in Beta, so I bet a lot of you are familiar with her! Do you have any Dragons? • Yup! I have 4: Lumos who is a silver dragon, Nox who is a black dragon, Charm who is an Easter dragon and Jinx, a purple dragon.

What is your favorite Outfit? • I love love love my new purple princess dress from Questy. Next favorite would have to be the Wizard robes. What is your favorite Color? • Purple Which minigame is your favorite? • Dragon’s Treasure Would you rather chase Bunnies or hunt Ghosts? • Bunnies. Bunnies are way cuter than Ghosts :p What was your favorite Festival? • I love Halloween, so the Pumpkin Festival has been my favorite so far, but if March of the Snowmen were a festival, that one would be my favorite. I love love love snowmen! What is your favorite Quest? • Ohhh that’s a hard one! I think my favorites are the new snowmen-based quests! What is your favorite room in Pandanda? • Pawthorne Forest. It’s so pretty and peaceful! What is the best thing about being a Moderator? • Getting to meet all of the pandas in Pandanda. There are a LOT of really fun players! What is the hardest thing about being a Moderator? • Not being able to help everyone. It’s fun to be able to chat with everyone, but there are a lot of pandas to check on, so I do have to keep moving around. What do you like to do when you are not Moderating? • Read, listen to music and watch movies. March of the Snowmen - Review so far...

Wow the March of the Snowmen is by far one of the best things I've seen on Pandanda! I was surprised when I saw some moving ones at the fishing hole, when I was questing. Here are some pics:

A Snowman fortress! There's even a quest you can get from Mr. Elmhurst which you have to gather blocks of snow in for the Snow Fort. He reckons it's the safest place.

There is also a giant Snowglobe at East Market Street and heaps of other shiveringly cool stuff - so much I can't fit it all in one post!

March of the Snowmen!

Sadly I couldn't make it to the manic monday Henry visits - I completely forgot!

Anyway, a post was left on Henry's blog today..... but it doesn't say who from..... I'm assuming it was from Henry, as its his blog. Here it is:

March of the Snowmen! January 17th, 2011

What goes “Wacka wacka woooooo?” A bunch of Manic Monday pandas, that’s what! I saw some really wild and crazy outfits during my visits today, and I had a blast hanging out with everyone! Sheriff Steele says he had a great time, too! We will definitely have to plan another Manic Monday sometime! The March of the Snowmen begins tomorrow and goes until Thursday, January 27. There will be 2 extra Quests each day, special decorations, and maybe, just maybe….Marching Snowmen! And don’t forget to mark your calendar for the first Free Elite Member Day of 2011, Saturday, January 29. I’ll have more information about that soon!

Sounds like manic monday was fun! The March of the Snowmen will be great fun, I'd really like to see marching snowmen!

All right, it’s time to get a little crazy in Pandanda! I declare Monday, January 17th as Manic Monday! Put on your craziest, most mixed-up outfits and get ready for some fun! I want to see Pandanda covered in wild and wacky pandas!

I will be making some visits on Monday to hang out and join the fun. And I've even convinced Sheriff Steele to take time off from his safety patrols to pop in and say "Hi", too. You can look for me between 9-10am Pandanda Time, and again between 1-2pm Pandanda Time. Watch for my tweets on Twitter - @PandandaHenry!

This will be a great warm-up for The March of the Snowmen, which begins on Tuesday the 18th. Hmmm….a warm-up might not be such a good idea for snowmen. Oh well, I think it’s still quite cold enough in Pandanda to keep the snowmen frozen and happy!

Hi Panda Pals! I thought you would enjoy learning a bit more about the super Pandanda Moderators you see in Pandanda each day. The Moderators are there to help you. They answer questions, help enforce the rules, and make sure everyone is being safe and having fun! Today’s Mod Questions and Answers are from Moderator Jule. Do you have any Dragons? • I have two dragons - Skittles and Primavera. Skittles is pink and Primavera is the special Easter Festival edition lime green. Primavera means “spring” in several languages.

What is your treehouse like? • Right now my treehouse looks like an outer space disco, with the moon surface floor, galaxy walls and ceiling, disco ball, and animated dance floor right in the middle! What is your favorite Outfit? • Wow, it’s hard to pick just one. I really enjoyed wearing the green elf suit, elf hat, and the red slip-on shoes with gold trim. But now that Christmas is over, I’m back to my yellow Mod uniform shirt. What is your favorite Color? • Red Which minigame is your favorite? • Dragon’s Treasure. I could play it for hours! Would you rather chase Bunnies or hunt Ghosts? • Bunnies, because they don’t freeze you. Brrrrr. What was your favorite Festival? • I loved the Harvest Festival, with all the beautiful autumn colors. What is your favorite Quest? • I can’t remember the exact name of it, but the Quest to find the escaped dragons was challenging and fun! What is your favorite room in Pandanda? • Farmer Ned’s Barn. It’s fun to go up in the loft and dance. Plus, the chickens make me laugh! What is the best thing about being a Moderator? • Getting to meet pandas from all over the world! What is the hardest thing about being a Moderator? • Not being able to answer everyone’s questions. So many pandas, and only one me! What do you like to do when you are not Moderating? • Read, read, read, read, read! I love books!
